Diplomacy is art of serving economic security and strategic interests
of the country by the country by the use of economic instrument in
conduct of state to state relations.
Economic diplomacy includes
building international coalitions to help countries recover from
financial crises. It entails convincing host government leaders to apply
the policies and measures most likely to strengthen their economics and
provide jobs for their people. Tools of diplomacy include sanctions,
anti-money laundering and anti-corruption measures enforcement actions.
Economic
diplomacy is concerned with economic policy issue. Policy decisions
designed to influence exports, imports, investments, lending, aid, free
trade agreements etc.
Economic
diplomats also monitor and report on economic policies in foreign
countries and give the home government advice on how to best influence
them.
